CLN.BK 165 Posted July 27, 2016 I failed the 1st two days of my liquid diet b/c of that exact reason! Day 1 I read a post on here asking which foods are missed the most. In hindsight, that move was a horrible decision. I made it though the entire day, but after reading that post and all the responses around 10pm, I fell off the wagon and binged on a box of mac and cheese. Day 2 I was watching TV and it seemed like every other commercial was about food. Over the course of 1 show, I saw 6 different pizza commercials. I ordered a pizza. I ate over half the pizza by myself. Day 3 I was prepared. When I sat down to watch my show, I had a 32 oz mixing bowl of chicken broth with a bunch of my favorite spices. I drank 1/4 of the broth and 16 oz of Water before sitting down at all. I drank the rest of the broth throughout the episode. I also had 2 sugar free popsicles. Truthfully, I have not been hungry at all. Both times I failed were due to cravings that I failed to control. My stomach hasn't been growling nor have I felt dizzy. Physically, the diet has not been hard. Mentally, however, is where I'm struggling. I have to get past the head hunger and cravings.
Bobby'sGirl 34 Posted July 28, 2016 It's so mentally hard when all you're seeing is food and restaurant commercials. But you're right. Physically it's nowhere near as bad as I thought. It's all in my head lol
Cluelesswinner 32 Posted July 28, 2016 Best not to fall into the trap of foodies. I refuse to read post about food and when there is a picture of food I by pass that too. Watching TV is the hardest but do-able. Just walk away during commercials. Remember it was that same food that brought you to this point in your life. Lastly focus on how wonderful you are going to look and feel!!!!! You can do this !
