JKBtx 28 Posted July 25, 2016 My sleeve was done Wednesday, July 20th. I have what I thought is hunger pains, it is fierce then goes away. I'm so hungry! Seriously I can sip liquids, and Popsicles. amisbell 0 Posted July 25, 2016 I had that same feeling shortly after surgery. And of course, I freaked out since everyone says that you won't feel hungry after having the sleeve done. It went away after I started taking a PPI. However, six weeks out I am occasionally "hungry". It's not like the hunger I used to feel, I just feel a bit empty.
