Jasminkw 6 Posted July 24, 2016 Actually disappointed is an understatement! was supposed to have my surgery today, but the a/c in the surgical facility stopped working by the time I was to have my procedure, so I was cancelled. I dont have a date now. The doctors told me it MIGHT be next week Sunday, but this isnt guaranteed because they have to find a time to squeeze me in now. They wont know until tomorrow. This means I have to go to work tomorrow. This means explaining to everyone why I am back in the office. This means rescheduling for the time off again AND I have to stay on the liquid diet until this is sorted out. I was so upset. I just wanted to say F it and not go thru with it at all. readi2lose4 2 Posted July 24, 2016 I am sorry to hear about the delay, but who knows maybe there is a reason why it is was delayed. Maybe it's in God's divine plan, that you wait a little longer. Hopefully, they will be able to reschedule you soon, and you will be able to get the time off that you need. I pray that the next scheduled surgery is at a convenient time for you, that the facility is fully operational and functioning properly, including the a/c (trust me you don't want to be hot and miserable in the hospital).
