Tell me... what is on your bucket list now that you have reached a non-scale victory (NSV) or ultimate goal?

Is there something you want to do that you've never dreamed of doing?

Spill it!

I've been at goal for a little over two years and life is awesome!

I do mud runs with my kids, I am a martial arts instructor, I run the dunes in Kill Devil Hills, I Zumba. I am no longer self conscious of my size when I travel, I can fit in airplane seat and down the aisles of various means of transportation without have to shuffle sideways sucking in my gut. Theatre seats are comfy, hotel bath towels fit all the way around me and amusement parks ride operators no longer grimace when they see me coming.

And the shopping...don't even get me started.

I just want to live life to the fullest. My sister asked if I wanted to do this crazy obstacle course/zip line adventure and I said yes without hesitating. We went yesterday and got to the section where you choose the 'easy' or 'challenging' route and we just smiled at each other and went left. It was like Ninja Warrior in the trees with a harness on. We completed 49 courses/zip lines and we had a BLAST. All I could think is how impossible it would've been even 50 lbs ago. Of course I won't be able to wear shorts for a week or two now...

On my bucket list once I reach goal weight:

I want to do a zip line in the NC mountains through the trees!

I'm saving for a Splash Painting by Christina Grenard.

And I want to hike around Crater Lake in Oregon.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
