Futureplans 14 Posted July 23, 2016 Focused on the last 40 lbs. I continue to put Protein first, wait an hour to drink after meals, no baked goods, sugar, flour, so on. Challenges continue to be trying to love exercise. I am still not consistent. I will get in a groove and the life gets in the way and it will have been a week since I did a planned exercise. I do add intentional movement throughout the day but I know 210 dedicated minutes would be better. I still have head hunger and can not have sweets around me. It has not been easy but so glad I did it and celebrating improved health and enjoying life.
WLSResources/ClothingExch 3,444 Posted July 23, 2016 You are wonderful. Getting to 'love' exercise isn't in the cards for everyone.* If you view it as a neutral, like brushing your teeth, you may find yourself being more consistent. * It could still happen, but that doesn't really matter** much. * If you vary your routine, it may become more fun. Or not. ** What does matter is that you're wonderful forever.
Futureplans 14 Posted July 23, 2016 Great thought about it being a neutral. And comparing it to brushing your teeth. No I don't love brushing my teeth but I never skip that. Thank you for the new perspective and positive thoughts. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
