Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted July 23, 2016 If in doubt, go to the ER. Didn't your surgeon give you a 24 hour emergency number for this type of question. This is certainly not the type of question strangers on the Internet can answer. Better be safe than sorry.
theantichick 2,204 Posted July 23, 2016 I'm an ex-ER nurse, and the BP you listed is really too low, especially with dizziness and light headedness. I agree with Inner Surfer Girl that your doc is the best person to ask. If you can't get ahold of your cardiologist pretty quickly I would recommend the ER, especially since it's the weekend. You do not want to let this go until Monday.

miss_alli 9 Posted July 24, 2016 Yes absolutely go to the ER. I went before my surgery because mind kept dropping that low and I was admitted. You definitely need to go.
tanktalken 46 Posted July 24, 2016 Did you have heart issues before surgery? Indeed I did. I had a mild heart attack 7 years ago. I was very fortunate because there was no muscle damage to my heart. When I started this journey, my bmi was 35 and so my heart enables me to have the surgery. I simply cannot get down to or maintain a healthy weight so I've made this choice. going in tomorrow! I hope you are well...Nancy K.
