B1essed1 61 Posted July 22, 2016 Homemade chicken broth was my favorite during that stage. I saved the left over chicken and made chicken salad one night and chicken shredded tacos the next night for my family.

I still made meals for my family with the chicken and veggies used to make the broth. It tasted Waaaaay better than any store bought Soup or broth.
eudys3 27 Posted July 22, 2016 Campbell's makes fantastic organic Soup that comes in a box. I am allowed full liquids (post-op day four). I LOVE the Tomato basil-have to mix in unlavored Protein Powder & that makes 2 servings, about 16-18 g Protein each. They also have butternut squash soup that I may add some curry powder to. A welcome change from chocolate protein shakes!

B1essed1 61 Posted July 22, 2016 Wear cotton made tops that are loose fitting and comfortable. I pretty much wore only PJs the first few days.
