I'm reading all I can get my hands on about everything pre and post-gastric sleeve as I have for nearly a year; however, I've never read anything on sleep.< /p>

I can take almost anything, but don't interrupt my sleep!

Can you tell me... how's your sleep been? Good? Better? Bad? Need more?

I sleep too much. My lack of energy has me in bed way more than I would like. Luckily I have taken a month off of work to recover and I am hoping this fatigue will improve soon.

@@Unbridled My sleep is better than ever and I don't seem to need as much as I did prior to surgery! I also have twice the energy I did before my sleeve. Good luck to you!

Great answer @@ShelterDog64

That is what I wanted to hear. I hope many agree with you.

Congrats on your recent surgery!

I was told to sleep elevated. I am a side sleeper, so that was hell. When I first tried to sleep on my side, it felt uncomfortable. Now that I am 2 /12 weeks out, I find myself rolling on my side. I am super exhausted, but for some reason, I have not slept a full night since before surgery. I hope it improves. Am thinking of getting some Tylenol pm.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
