I was born and raised in the Bronx and did not leave until I was almost 27, so I remember it well, and deep down it will always be my home. What part are you from. I went to PS 119, and JHS 125, then Lehman HS and Lehman College where I graduated in 1982 as a nurse. Very good and very near and dear memories. My family also moved to California and I have a few good friends still there, but several of them left NY also. I think I am quite a bit older then you.
