eudys3 27 Posted July 19, 2016 Don't worry-you've got this. I just had my RNY 9 hours ago & my pain is about a1 or 2 out of ten. Mostly sore throat from being intubated & pain when using abdominal muscles to sit up. No nausea, & I've had 108 ounces of water/protein shake already. I feel WAY better than I anticipated, reading the posts on this forum. So maybe you'll be lucky like me!. Elyse519 23 Posted July 21, 2016 (edited) Hi all, I might be discharged today just waiting for my doctor. The first day wasn't bad, but at night it was for me. I'm finally on Clear Liquids only waiting for my doctor to advance me to full liquids. Other than that, I'm walking around and just have pain and soreness when using abdominal muscles.
