EsmeraldaRubym_ 1 Posted July 18, 2016 Has anyone tired juicing ? Do you recommend it I'm 2 months post op and I've lost 40 pounds. I really really don't want to just juice all day. since liquids including Protein Shakes do fill me up and leave me satisfied I was wondering if I could leave the Protein and just juice ? xoxotinarose 14 Posted July 18, 2016 I asked my Dr about juicing and he said it might have too much sugar. Congratulations on your weight loss. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
TinyLittleFractures 33 Posted July 27, 2016 Juicing is a ton of sugar. It gives you a big sugar rush because there's no Fiber to slow down the absorption rate. If you want to stay on Protein Shakes a little longer before going to real food contact your surgeon and make sure he has no issues with it.

I used to incorporate fresh vegetable juice for micronutrients. Makes you feel great. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
chycky 671 Posted September 3, 2016 I would suggest using veg or berries with Protein powder. Not sure of your plan and fresh veg but I can add a little berry banana or veg to Protein smoothie. But if you mean straight juicing I would think unless very watery with low carb veg and with some added protein probably too many calories and carbs.
