healthier&happier4life 86 Posted July 18, 2016 I lost about a pound a day for the first three weeks, now I've only lost 3 pounds week 4. What happened? Is this normal? Will the weight loss pick back up?
GermanShepherdMama 145 Posted July 18, 2016 Totally normal. It will pick back up. I'm only about 2.5 months post op and I went through a period of about 3 weeks when I didn't lose any weight. It was very odd and frustrating. But I'm back on track now!

KayEMS 0 Posted July 19, 2016 hi...I am one month post op after RNY gastric bypass. My weight has stalled for about 7 days day before and after my menstrual cycle. I started eating soft foods but feel sad that my weight has stalled so long. I was doing so well for 3 weeks I lost 11.7 kilograms Sent from my SM-G930F using the BariatricPal App

amysmara 16 Posted July 22, 2016 Yes it's completely normal to have a stall, your body is hanging on to every single fat cell because your body is in starvation mode right now so when your body catches up to the surgery then you will start losing weight again. Don't worry it's completely normal and will happen a couple of times Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
