High blood pressure after surgery?

Before surgery I assume my bp was never high because I've been to my pcp a few times and she's never said anything about my bp but since this surgery it's been high and idk why, I have an appointment with my pcp tomorrow morning but I'm very concerned about this

How high? Both pain and anxiety can cause high bp, so if you're still in a significant amount of pain, it could be from that. Please let me know how your doctor appointment goes. Sending my love and prayers!
