Well, i did it to myself. last week i ate too much for the whole week. (just a nibble here and there) (no more than 1 cup per every meal though) and i put myself in the position that i remember how much i like food.< /p>

Now I am having a really difficult time with the head hunger.!!!!!!!!! I feel like I have totally feel off the bike!

It has taken since May to go under 200lbs. (197 for a day!!) Now I'm 200.5 I am so frustrated!!!!!!!! I crumbled under the pressure of the "can't have just one" potato chip rule. (I was perfect not eating all of the 'not allowed' foods until i just tasted them!!!!Damn!!! I;ve tried the liquid stage and can't get past dinner!!!

Any comforting words?:faint:

I am right there with you. I was at 185 for the first time since probably 6th grade. I had some of my fill removed because of some problems I was having. Well I gained 15 pounds in 1 month. The old failure feelings start coming back really quick. I have told myself that I will start weighing everything that I eat again like I did in the beginning. I weighed yesterday and I am now at 201 pounds. I told myself I would not get to 200 again. Maybe we could try and do this together. I will be weighing everything today so I dont go over my 4 ounces. I deffinitly dont want to mess up what I have worked so hard for. Good luck to you and Im here if you need to talk.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
