Esmemart 10 Posted July 17, 2016 I had surgery on 6/29 gastric sleeved @ Mass General Hospital . I went to my 2 week post up appt with surgeon and nutritionist. So far I'm one of the lucky ones that haven't had any issues, no nausea, nor pain. She said I can pretty much each eat any food and fruit , but to be smart and use my common sense on what I'm eating. No fried food, no breads, Pasta, nor rice. And try to avoid fruit and veggies with skins. But to definitely try veggies and other food that I may tolerate. And eat my Protein first since my stomach is so small. Just wondering if any one had same diet? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App This was exactly what I was instructed by my surgeon at my 2 week post-op checkup. I'm eating grilled chicken and pork, squash, green Beans, cherries, mozzarella cheese, etc. Chewing them to baby food consistency, but it's still real food

KristenLe 5,979 Posted July 17, 2016 Well I am still on full liquids probably until this Wednesday then it will be puréed Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Take small sips. Try different temps of your liquids - some tolerate warm more than cold (or vice versa). Good luck! If you continue to have pain - give your surgeon a call.
