KMichelle88 11 Posted July 15, 2016 I got the lapband about 3 years ago and although i lost quite a bit of weight unfortunately i was diagnosed w cancer and gained back almost all the weight from being on steroids. After that it all went down hill. After my would have been third surgery due to leaks i decided to try something new so some ppl i know recommended the sleeve. Im a little nervous to do all this again but i do feel like it is the right decision and i am blessed to have the opportunity because i know many dont. Soo...is there ny one out there who switched like i am doing? Was it pretty much the same or totally different? And are you happy w ur choice? missblonde20 72 Posted July 15, 2016 So sorry to read your story! I hope that you can make a decision that is amazing and changes your life for the better. I just had a revision (8 days ago) and I am very happy so far. It has been hard, yes, and I am still on fluids, but I am so happy already. My clothes are looser, I am on a really exciting new path, and I have no pain at all.
