Unflavored protien powder

Recommended Posts

I live North West of Houston. Been online trying to find high protien unflavored powder to mix with my Soup. I'm one week out of my surgery and I'm not taking in enough protien. Can anyone who lives in or around Houston please let me know where I can find.

I just ordered the unjury starter pack and will see how I like that. Two samples of each of their flavors including unflavored and chicken Soup. I keep seeing post about it so thought I'd give it a try. Also bought the Isopure unflavored but have not tried yet.

I would search GENEPRO on this site. I am just not a fan of their weird science.

I stand by unjury starter kit it is how I fell in love with their chicken broth. Have only tried their unflavored, chicken, and chocolate. For price and Protein comparison I am sticking with Isopure on unflavored (25 vs 21) and premier for chocolate (30g) but love chicken. It has more sodium so I just have one per day.< /p>

I have this & love it. It doesn't have a smell or taste so I like that. I have some Meal Replacement powder & I can't stand the smell. Same with Isopure. I've had 2 of their drinks & they have a foul aftertaste. I have 2 other flavors that I may try....or not!

I use the unjury and LOVE it! It's by far the lowest calorie and highest Protein one I've found. If someone else has good ideas, I'd love to hear them!

@@purpletmar I like Unjury as well ❤️ Their chicken broth. For unflavored Isopure has a bit more Protein and cost a little less.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
