steffhill 1 Posted July 13, 2016 Ok I'm 1 1/2 weeks out post op and I've done really well. My two year old had a tantrum and I had to pick her up or drag her. Lol but now my stomach is sore, no blood in my urine. Should I be concerned ? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
KristenLe 5,979 Posted July 13, 2016 Just take it easy - get rest and if the pain worsens or there's anything else of concern, check in with your surgeon. For the next few weeks - let her have the tantrum! ????
diamondsandpearls 5 Posted July 13, 2016 Hope you're stomach feels better....I'm still in the pre-op phase but that's one of my fears. I have a two year old and its so natural for me to pick him up so I Hope I'm able to adjust to not being able to pick him up. steffhill 1 Posted July 13, 2016 I had the same fear. I was able to gently explain that mommy can't pick you up right now. It worked until the mini breakdown. Good luck, it will be fine! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

gary5862 208 Posted July 15, 2016 The danger is tearing the stitches that hold your abs together. You would definitely feel it if you tore them.
