I'm a Lap bander trying to get insurance approval for a conversion to the gastric sleeve. I had a slip back in February and have been in a tussle with BCBS ever since. They have until July 24 to say yes or no to my latest appeal, so I hope to be joining y'all in August or early September. **fingers crossed **

I am scheduled for August 1 for the slave. I am using Dr. Marker. So nervous. Not looking forward to the 10 day liquid diet

Yay! It moves fast from here. I had dietary appt and pre-op already. Anesthesia pre-op Monday. Surgery on August 1st! Hope yours is close to my date.

They require Bariatric Advantage brand shakes for the pre-op diet. They sell them at the surgeons office. 69$

Maybe I will get to meet you Monday. I'm an RN in the Surgical Assessment Clinic at Flowers. I probably will get to meet everybody on this thread. I had hoped to have my procedure on the 1st as well but I don't know if I can work it out with my job. We are already short handed. I plan to vigorously plead my case! Nurses aren't supposed to be sick or need surgery![emoji6]
