bamagurl 98 Posted July 13, 2016 I was just looking through the forum for the answer to this same question ... I currently have the chewable daily multi Vitamin from opurity and it makes me completely nauseous within a few minutes! Following your post to see what is out there that is recommended! Best Wishes! Christinamo7 4,042 Posted July 13, 2016 @@bamagurl do you take it with food or on an empty stomach? the opurity multi was *not* my favorite, but I ate them all anyway because they were good quality and expensive. when they were gone I went back to my regular multi. I need to take them with food. so I eat a few bites, take my Vitamin and then eat the rest of my food. the opurity I had to eat in 4 bites throughout the meal. I couldn't take it all at once. too much for me. but my labs were excellent!

helenpgh 81 Posted July 13, 2016 I take Centrum vitamints. They taste like mint candy and are easy to digest. However they don't contain Iron so I also take Slow FE iron supplement and later in the day I take a Viactiv chewable Calcium supplement.

I do take with food, but being 6 weeks out from a Band revision to a Sleeve, the amount of food I am taking them with just isn't providing enough of a buffer. When I was banded I could take them no problem. I never though to take in several bites though ... maybe I will try that tonight. If that doesn't do it, I am definitely going to try something else. Barry W 336 Posted July 13, 2016 I used the Multivitamin Patches from PatchMD for two months. Then I switched over to the Centrum chewable Multivitamin pills with Iron (orange flavor). I also try to get a variety of fruits and veggies in my diet, so I am not just relying on the supplements.

helenpgh 81 Posted July 13, 2016 My surgeon recommends 2 children's Flinstones chewables with Iron. I plan to switch to those when I finish the Centrum vitamints.
