Are you looking for the BariatricPal Store? Go now!

I thought I had his support

Recommended Posts

Well I have gotten alot of support from these groups and thank you for that.

Well I got into a fight with my husband last night to the point I told him I did not even want him at the hospital on Monday.

We are going through so much right now. I know my surgery doesn't help things but I'm not changing it. I have been working so hard for this. I just don't know what else to do.

Sorry you're going through this. Sorry I don't have any advice.....other than to just hang in there and stay the course. I wish you the best with your upcoming surgery.

@@Grams2016 You are doing this for YOU!!!! Your health is what is important! If your husband can't support you - then you are better off on your own! Stay strong and positive!!!

I recommend this book (I downloaded it to my Kindle).

I think you should also ask your surgeon about some counseling/therapy! You're in my prayers! Be sure to stay safe!

"We are going through so much right now"

^^^^^^^ all the more reason to proceed and do this for YOU.

He'll likely come around and support you when he sees how much better you feel after your weight loss starts steamrolling in the right direction and you realize that you now have complete and total control of your weight. You can drive it to any body size you wish to drive it. It takes discipline, work, planning and dedication.....but YOU will be in control.

It's an amazing process and one full of self discovery.

It may feel a bit selfish now....when there are other problems in the mix....but trust & believe that taking a couple weeks to have the surgery and recover is absolutely going to show improvements in every single aspect of your life.

Rock this surgery and rock your new self.

Have fun and have no regrets.
