miss_smiles 192 Posted July 11, 2016 I am going on vacation tomorrow to the UK for two weeks, my question is - Should I take my scale? ! I know I may not eat what I am supposed to all the time, and may be drinking somewhat. I want to have fun, but I also don't want to fall off the bandwagon. Ideas/Suggestions? OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted July 11, 2016 food scale or body scale? If you have a pocket food scale, maybe. Weighing yourself, don't bother.
KristenLe 5,979 Posted July 11, 2016 @@miss_smiles I'm sure you could find a way to weigh yourself if it came down to it - but leave your scale at home! Have a great time!!!

4MRB4PHOTO 3,900 Posted July 11, 2016 If you really must weigh yourself (you don't need to weigh daily, once a week or every two should be enough now for you) they might have a work out room with a scale in it. If it is food you want to weigh, there are online charts that give you an estimate of a serving ("~3oz serving of chicken breast is ~ the size of a pack of playing cards", "15 grapes ~ the size of an incandescent light bulb") etc.. You should have a pretty good idea of the serving sizes by now to estimate while on vacation. Have a great time and make sure you pack an incandescent light bulb, pack of playing cards, etc.....
