lisataketwo 15 Posted July 11, 2016 Plateau at 12 days PO. I expected this at some point, but not so soon. Also feeling hungry between meals. Adding extra Protein (oz or 2 of yogurt or turkey), but not reaching any level of discomfort. Anyone experience this? Water and exercise as directed. Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted July 11, 2016 Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. We all stall and most of us experience a stall about three weeks after surgery. Just follow your program. Focus on getting in all of your Protein and at least 64 oz of Fluid. Take your Vitamins and supplements as directed. Exercise when cleared. Stay off the scale. And, Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall
becomingmandikaye 262 Posted July 11, 2016 Are you taking a PPI? Acid really can feel like hunger. I scoffed at folks who said that, but after talking to my surgeon I started taking a Tums whenever I started feeling those "hunger pains" - and it really did help. KristenLe 5,979 Posted July 11, 2016 @@lisataketwo How much Protein are you getting? You are right on time for a typical stall. As long as you are getting in all of your Protein, Water and Vitamins - you will start to lose again. Stay off the scale for a while - take measurements and you'll see your body changing in ways the scale doesn't show.
