It seems that an individual decided to report my beach photo post from this morning about exercising/loving who you are now in this moment, and living life to the fullest and actively and joyfully as possible pre-surgery.

It makes me angry when people get catty about positivity. Why be in a support group if you aren't going to share the wins, too?

Misery loves company, but I won't continue to participate if that's the way it is going to be here. Easy as that. ✌️

Anyone know if there is a way to delete your profile? There are plenty of likeminded individuals in social platforms.

No clue. I didn't think the post was offensive at all. But... everyone is fighting their own battles and you never know what ticks people off in their sensitivity stages.

Post was the opposite of offensive. I found it uplifting.

It's not that this will hinder progress at all, but throwing shade isn't cool—especially when they can do it anonymously without risk of a clap back.

Not seeing the ability to delete a profile (just recommendations on ghosting).

I don't understand how that can happen and people go have months and page long threads about their adventures with adultery.

I really liked your post and thought it was some needed positivity.

Please don't delete your account before I can PM you, lol.

:( I thought you looked fabulous. I liked your positivity. It was a good reminder that it's OK to like how you look at any size. Most of us are doing WLS for health, not beauty.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
