Ways To Breakthrough Stalls

Recommended Posts

Hi!

1 month post op have lost 15lbs since. Honestly thought it would be more. Eating 1/4 to 1/2 cup Protein 3 x's no snacking and getting 64oz fluids.

Walking most days. Sometimes I think that I am not eating enough? Then too much. Still adjusting suppose. Need to be checking in here again stay with like minded people. Felt stuck in the mud these past 2 weeks.

So happy I am on this journey! HW 280, SD 241 current 226. Cannot wait to say goodbye to the 200's!

Thanks everybody and all the best to each of you on your journeys! Please take care of yourself. Love to hear from you! Take care in these crazy times we are living in. Peace!

15lbs is good for someone at a lowerish bmi. How many calories are you having per day? How many grams of Protein?

Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. We all experience stalls and just about everyone experiences a stall about three weeks after surgery.

Just follow your program.

Drink at least 64 oz of Fluid.

Make sure you are getting in all of your Protein.

Take your Vitamins and supplements as directed.

Exercise when cleared.

And, Embrace the Stall

Are you taking a PPI? It might be acid.

Are you drinking enough? It might be dehydration.

Are you eating enough/getting enough Protein? You might be hungry.
