Does anyone know if Herbalife shakes are acceptable for a post op source of Protein

The ones I have seen have too many carbs. What does the nutrition label look like? It is important to learn how to read labels. Look for a high Protein low carb/sugar ratio.

They have about 24g of Protein and about 15g carbs about 5 from sugar

The carbs would be too high for me. Try Premier Protein, GNC Lean 25, powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury, Syntrax nectar, Quest, or Isopure.

Look for double digits of Protein and single digits for carbs.

Thanks so much! I used them before in one of my many attempts to lose weight and they were tasty. But I guess I will try something else

I recommend you get samples and try different shakes (before and after surgery) before buying in bulk since your tastes may change.
