rebelchelz 52 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) I'm from Oklahoma!! I'm still new at this also. I started looking into this in Feb & finally got approved w/ insurance in april. I changed surgeons in may due to new surgeon being in my insurance network. Now trying to wait patiently with new Dr. I have done all my requirements and keep checking back with them weekly to verify everything has been done. Just a couple of days ago when I called they assured me they were doing chart checks that day & we would know something soon. So I will call next week again if I don't hear from them. I work for the State, so I've been trying to figure out if my insurance covers this or what I've got to do to get approved. Yay fellow Okie! rebelchelz 52 Posted July 8, 2016 Of course, no prob! I have BCBSOK. They declined first because my BMI was 35 & they require it to be 40. I'll have to wait til January because right now I've got an extremely high deductible plan and need to switch plans for the new year.
