So yesterday , i was starting to get some food , scrambled eggs, toast with butter on, mashed potatoes and fine ground beef. (supposed to be pureed but I figured my teeth would do the pureeing ) the only thing I can't get use to though is not drinking with my meals. I think this is the hardest so far. feels like it would help the whole process of getting the food down. Is it gonna be like that the whole time or just for the healing part? :-( but I'm still happy to start eating again.

My first thought is - you're allowed toast?? I have some more time before that happens for me. :)

You're not supposed to drink when you eat, ever. The reason is because the Water will flush the food out of your stomach faster making you eat more and get hungry sooner. If you're eating something dry, my nutritionist has sad that a sip of water would be okay to get it down, but that's it. It's part of this lifestyle change to help us lose the weight and then not regain it.
