What's on the menu for the Purée/mushy/soft foods stage? I don't like Peanut Butter or Beans

I didn't have a puree phase. I went from full liquids to soft foods. I ate a lot of: Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, turkey, tuna, soft fish, refried Beans, chili, etc. Did your NUT give you a list of foods for this phase?

I picked up: grits, weight control oatmeal, ricotta cheese, cream of potato Soup, hummus, yogurt, and pudding. I am not allowed eggs yet but seems like a lot of plans allow them. No Peanut Butter either or meat. I am in purée for two more weeks and then can add more. Plan is to eat purée foods for main meals and supplement with Protein shakes and fluids throughout the day

I am really surprised they specified low fat Peanut Butter. If you read labels, most Peanut Butter that is "low fat" or "reduced fat", has high fructose corn Syrup in it. They basically dilute it with sugar to lower the fat ratio.

PB2 would be what I would consider a real low fat option. Or, natural peanut butter with the fat skimmed off the top (but that would make it less creamy and harder to eat during the soft phase).

Just my opinion.

I enjoyed pureed Progresso Lite Soups during the pureed stage. They have a lot of flavor. I also enjoyed cooking chicken in the crock pot until it falls apart....Pork Loin can be done the same way.....adding a little sugar free BBQ makes it really tasty.
