jleckert 4 Posted July 6, 2016 Hello everyone! I'm Jamie and I'm 30. Mother of 4. Today is my first day of my 6 month medically recorded diet. After months and months of researching I decided getting the sleeve would be my best option. I called the hostipal that will be doing my surgery and they walked me through the steps I need to do for my insurance. I'm really excited to get this all started! I've been over weight most of my life but this past year I've been at my highest weight. I now weigh 275 and I'm hoping to get down at least 15 to 20 pounds with this diet. Does that sound about right? I hope so. I hope I can so this. Every diet I've tried in the past I have failed at. My pcp seemed to be very supportive today when I gave her all the paperwork. I meet my surgeon Monday for my initial visit and I'm self pay so i hope that helps speed the process some since I don't have an insurance company pushing me to meet their requirements. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I started out looking to see Schmitt, but at consult they assigned me to Miles. I'm going down from Clarksville, TN. The Nashville options were too expensive and/or didn't offer complication insurance.
