Afrikanaaa 79 Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) So, I am 60lbs down and a lot of my friends have remarked that I look shorter. Low and behold went to the doctor (who measured my height barefoot at 6'1 pre-surgery) and I have gotten shorter. I am now 5'11 1/2 (same hairstyle, everything). I know losing shoe sizes was a possibility but height?! Edited July 4, 2016 by Afrikanaaa
rosestara 48 Posted July 4, 2016 That's odd, I hope I don't lose anymore height. I am already 5'3 when I have been 5'4 my entire life. I am still months away from my surgery but I will certainly have them measure my height periodically after my surgery to see if I shrink like you did! WitchySar 244 Posted July 4, 2016 I'd heard of this. The theory I heard is that when you are obese you have fat pads on the bottom of your feet. As you lose weight you lose those fat pads too. It contributes to the change in shoe size, and also can affect height too.
