The endoscopy shows signs of previous barrett's syndrome which, if confirmed, will a eliminate my option for the sleeve and only allow a Gastric bypass. That is my LEAST favorite option. pjmckain 9 Posted July 2, 2016 I have Barrett's esophagus & I am having the sleeve. He said he will fix the hiatal hernia & the reflux may stop with the weight loss. He said he could tell that I had had significant reflux for a long time. He can always go in later & fix the esophageal sphincter next year.
