Jane???? 63 Posted July 1, 2016 So my paperwork was submitted on 6/20/16 and I'm super nervous that my insurance provider hasn't come through. Plus my insurance provider says it could take up to 30 days. Ugh, I've been so frustrated. Particularly since I've been reading a few of the threads and everyone has been getting approved super fast. I've been calling everyday for updates. But I keep thinking to myself (warning, it about to get spiritual) God wouldn't have put this idea in my head if He didn't think I could be successful. Jane???? 63 Posted July 1, 2016 Just got off the phone with BCBSIL and the tech read my notes and she said it looks like I will be approved. She said they're still working it but I should expect to have it closed and a letter sent out by Wednesday or Thursday. So I'll try back than. adeisha 6 Posted July 3, 2016 Don't stress. It'll happen. My last Dr's visit was the beginning of April. I didn't hear back sayibg i was approved until the Friday before Memorial Day. Due to unforseen circumstances my surgery isn't until August 15th. BUT, it's ok. This will give me time to work on other things such as toning and trimming my body, preparing my household for this new lifestyle change,etc. So take this opportunity to get some things in order before your surgery that may be beneficial to you after your surgery. flip26 10 Posted July 4, 2016 I am a newbie, I just got my primary care physician to put my referral in for vgs on June 30th. So when you say approved are you talking about the approval from your pcp or from the surgeons submission after you get all your test done?
