hapend2016 14 Posted June 28, 2016 Hi.. I'm 6 days post-op and I still feel this sharp pain on my left shoulder. The doctor said that it will go with time. For me this pain did not decrease.. anyone else has this problem?
PaulStephens1975 62 Posted June 28, 2016 It's called deferred pain and it's your body's way of telling you that it hurts internally. Sometimes it can be caused from the gas they pump you up with during surgery. Rolling your shoulders, walking, and taking Gas-x can sometimes help if the pain is gas related. Otherwise, healing will help. You can also try using a heating pad or a hot Water bottle on your shoulder for some mild relief.
