xxcourtxx23 3 Posted June 27, 2016 Hey everyone I go for my seminar tomorrow in Hartford ct!! And I'm having second thoughts now has anyone gone through this??? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
busybeebug 415 Posted June 27, 2016 Even if you are not sure go to it anyways. A seminar isn't a commitment. You can go through the whole program and not do it. If you have a weight issue, it's not bad to weigh all options. Surgery is a huge deal. You can waiver on if or when or why but go get your information. Explore your options. Maybe going will set in your mind how your journey will go no matter what you choose! Good Luck Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

Beni 1,484 Posted June 27, 2016 I had 500 thoughts. In fact, they would change from hour to hour. For an entire month I agonized. I can tell you now 'WHAT A WASTE OF TIME", if I could go back I would have done it years before. It was by far one of the best decisions of my life.
fluffy22 39 Posted June 27, 2016 Yes surgery is a big deal BUT not nearly the big deal I thought it would be. I too wasted a lot of time worrying.
trekker954 421 Posted June 27, 2016 Go to the seminar because it may help you decide. When I attended there were maybe 20 folks at mine. At least 3 stood up an left when the NUT said you may never have alcohol AGAIN, and at least 5 stood up and left when they talked about hair loss. A little dramatic yes, but it will weed out those who do not want to put any effort into their life changes.
Tssiemer1 549 Posted June 27, 2016 There was about 30 at my seminar. 5 got up when they said no more soda.
