moemoe2300 0 Posted June 27, 2016 So i had my bypass dec 4 2014 the next day I woke up throwing up blood bc the surgeon didn't close me up on the inside. So I had to have emergency surgery to correct. Then 2 weeks later I had my gallbladder taken out. When he did that he cut my intestines and bile got out. I went septic after a week. Had 2 abdominal adhesions. Had draining tubes in for 3 weeks. Now I'm 18 months out and having server abdominal pains if I go a few hours with out eating. Is that normal and I have a really hard time eatting actual food. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
gina171 626 Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) If I were you I would go see a new surgeon ASAP, the very very best place in your region (where other doctors send their problem cases). And I would call a lawyer. But how does your situation relate to your post title of "Metabolism going too fast?" moemoe2300 0 Posted June 27, 2016 That's what it feels like . Like I'll eat lunch but with in 2 hours my stomach cramps become unbearable. Idk if It's having to do with the complications I do or if it's normal Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
gina171 626 Posted June 27, 2016 So you feel like your food is moving through you much too quickly and causing that pain? It really sounds like you had a lot of poor treatment....can you find a new surgeon to work with? And get a copy of all your medical records from the first surgery to a lawyer? I mean.....the surgeon didn't close you up internally properly after WLS, then later he nicked your intestines causing more problems? That's not ok that lightning struck twice with you and the same surgeon.....you might not be the only one this has happened to Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
moemoe2300 0 Posted June 28, 2016 Iv tried to find another surgeon but no one will take me. And I refuse to go back to him. I'll do more research and see if maybe in a neighboring city. But yes it's like foods moving to quickly and if I don't eat within 2 hours the center of my abdomen feels like how it did after surgery Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
