northstar9148 82 Posted June 26, 2016 (edited) The best advice I have received so far is to drink more Water and slow down my eating. I have no support. I don't think Iam going to make my 6 month goal, Iam depressed and getting more depressed all the time Sent from my SM-G900T using the BariatricPal App Edited June 26, 2016 by northstar9148
VSGAnn2014 12,992 Posted June 26, 2016 Best advice I got was somewhat related to the OP's post: "Don't waste your first six honeymoon months. You'll never lose weight that fast again," said @@LipstickLady to me in a private post shortly after I had VSG surgery. I had already fully intended to be the most compliant WLS patient ever. But that advice really got my attention.
Babbs 14,681 Posted June 26, 2016 Never compare our own weight loss with others. We are all different, and if we follow the "rules" of WLS 90% of the time, we will eventually get where we want to be. Then the work REALLY starts.
Valentina 2,642 Posted June 26, 2016 After John's suicide the ONLY advice that sunk into my head was: "YOU CAN DO THIS"
