Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted July 3, 2016 I don't know if it's the same thing but I get really sick and sweaty and my heart races. I feel totally nauseous. I found what gets me out of it is a small amounts of Protein. I eat a cheese stick or something similar or a few sips of a Protein Drink. I think RNY people get it more often that sleeve people but I never know what's going to cause it. I ate kettle corn and got really sick like this, but I've eaten kettle corn before without a problem.
Renkoss 420 Posted July 4, 2016 If you don't have a glucometer (a meter to measure your blood sugar), you can get one pretty cheap at Walmart called Relion. The test strips are only $9 for 50 of them.

I can't eat any artificial sweets, or I'll get your reaction. Mine was more like a total black out. My all body was shaky. Felt like I was going to pass out but I didn't. It's a similar but different.
bellabloom 2,467 Posted April 1, 2017 I get it quite often and I am a sleeve patient. I can get it from over eating, drinking while eating, too many carbs, etc. it's fairly unpredictable. A half hour of feeling like crap. That's what dumping is - joy to wls.
