SalOdyssey 441 Posted June 19, 2016 Hello all, As someone who will be post-op soon, I figured rather than have it scattered over multiple threads, why don't we list all the various Protein drinks, waters, powders, etc that you've had and give your opinion on them. I just recently tried Atkins Lift Lemon Flavored, and found it pretty good. I like my drink a little sweeter, so I added a little Crystal Lite Lemonade mix to it. Quiet refreshing! On a 1-5 scale 4.5. So what Protein Drinks or waters, etc have you had?

Lovin2lose 25 Posted June 19, 2016 I'm 4 days post-op and so far I've had premier Protein, chocolate flavor. While I don't mind this one at all, I have found others that I find much easier to get down. I have had a Coco Protein Drink (pina colada flavor) and that was pretty good (probably a 3-4 on a scale of 1-5) then I've had the Atkins Lift berry Flavor. This one I really like, so I'll give it a 5. I just bought the orange flavored Lift today, so I'll probably try that one tomorrow. Then I met a couple who live down the road from me today and they brought over a few samples of the Syntrax nectar Protein powder. Haven't had time to try those yet, maybe tomorrow. cindyw41 761 Posted June 20, 2016 Adding PB2 to the chocolate premiere Protein drink was my favorite early on. Also sugar free coffee syrups. I used a pump of the raspberry with it as well for a chocolate raspberry drink. Variety is the key so you don't get burned out.

VEGAN ME 117 Posted June 21, 2016 what is PB2? and does anyone know of any good vegan Protein Drinks?
Deckard 3 Posted June 21, 2016 PB2 is a Peanut Butter powder that you can usually get at the nut butter section of regular supermarkets. You can also try adding a tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder to the regular vanilla Protein powders. In my opinion, the Protein shakes are horrible when prepared with Water. When made with a non-fat milk, the difference is night and day. You can also try adding a dollop of non-fat Greek yogurt and mixing it in to the shake Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
Afrikanaaa 79 Posted June 21, 2016 what is PB2? and does anyone know of any good vegan Protein Drinks? Vega One Protein Powder. You can snag it at costco. I'm not a huge fan of vanilla (in general) so I either blend this with fruits/water or PB2.
Loudy227 96 Posted June 21, 2016 I just made a Protein Shake in the blender: 1 scoop Unjury vanilla Protein, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 blueberries, splenda to taste, five ice cubes. Delish!

Christinamo7 4,042 Posted June 21, 2016 I like the unjury chocolate splendor made with fairlife milk. I like it with espresso powder added, or PB powder added or half a banana. I also like the Unjury vanilla with coffee added - or with half a peach or some frozen cherries added. and I used the unjury unflavored in things like no sugar applesauce to give a Protein boost in the early days.
