Surgery scheduled!

I'm scheduled for June 26th, exactly 1 week from today. I am a bit nervous but I can't wait!!! How long did it take to see some weight loss? I'm 5'4" 242lbs. I'm hoping to get to 200 by the end of August.

Within the first month anything+ is possible.

I went from 275 end of june to 205 pre op. Then surgery was 11/12/15 dropped lots first month. Now 7 months out I'm down to below my goal weight by 20 pounds.

Push but not to hard and exercise when you are given clearance. I do Zumba everyday 2x

That's an optimistic loss - just be careful not to set yourself up for disappointment if you don't lose 42 lbs in 8 weeks. You have less to lose than many of us and might lose slower.

You may or may not but try to do your best. We all loss at different rates remember that. One may lose 40 in the first month as another may lose 25 its hard to say.
