marchmellow 36 Posted August 29, 2016 @@laceemouse Yes she fibbed and said I weighed 250 in April. And I've also been wearing ankle weights and have been taking a pound out every time I go in. So the doc thinks I weighed 242 or something. But I really weighed less. Anyway this way I can lose the weight before surgery and was heavy enough to start process in April. I got this idea from this site! Lol. I've been going every month to see NUT and they said my insurance will approve. I also have BCBS. I just still worry there will be something that says not approved. I'm nervous. Anyway, good luck to you as well mama!! This is gonna be awesome for us!!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Good luck to you, I can't wait to hear how it works out for you!! How tall are you? It sounds like we have about the same stats I'm 5'6" thank you! cat17 57 Posted October 15, 2016 Scheduled my surgery for November 10th. Started this process on January 4th. Excited /nervous /scared all at once. My surgery will be done in Duluth MN Sent from my SCH-I545 using the BariatricPal App I am also from MN! Am self pay, so I'm going to Florida. Date set for Nov 8. Now that I have a date set, reality has struck so I'm anxious. My sister was sleeved a year ago and is very successful, which calms my fears. BlueMoon~T 276 Posted October 24, 2016 I know this is an old thread but I had my Bypass on 11/2/15. I had a revision from a lap band to RNY, my insurance covered it, thank God! I'm 5'7" and my highest weight weight was 340. I now weight 152. Two more pounds and I will be in the normal weight for my height. It's been amazing! I haven't had any complications. I hope you all are doing great! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
