Hi!

I just want to introduce myself. I'm a 41 year old mother of 6. I had twins in August of 2011 and since then, I've only been gaining weight. Right now I'm at 242lbs and 5'4". I went in and had the initial labs, endoscopy and sonar and have been cleared for surgery by my Dr. I'm planning on scheduling the surgery within the next 2 weeks, just waiting for my loan to come through as insurance doesn't cover it here. I'm so nervous about something going wrong and I end up having my stomach removed or something but the more success stories I read, the more I want to do it! I need to make this change not only for myself, but for my kids. I don't want to develop weight related health issues!

I am worried about loose skin and losing my butt and boobs, I wish we could tell our bodies which parts to lose from! Any advice or experience from someone with similar stats? Is love to see the progress!

Welcome!

I was anxious about my surgery since it was first surgery ever. My guess is that compared to delivering twins it will be really easy.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
