ummfaisal 2 Posted June 18, 2016 Hi! I just want to introduce myself. I'm a 41 year old mother of 6. I had twins in August of 2011 and since then, I've only been gaining weight. Right now I'm at 242lbs and 5'4". I went in and had the initial labs, endoscopy and sonar and have been cleared for surgery by my Dr. I'm planning on scheduling the surgery within the next 2 weeks, just waiting for my loan to come through as insurance doesn't cover it here. I'm so nervous about something going wrong and I end up having my stomach removed or something but the more success stories I read, the more I want to do it! I need to make this change not only for myself, but for my kids. I don't want to develop weight related health issues! I am worried about loose skin and losing my butt and boobs, I wish we could tell our bodies which parts to lose from! Any advice or experience from someone with similar stats? Is love to see the progress! UmmFaisal Welcome! I was anxious about my surgery since it was first surgery ever. My guess is that compared to delivering twins it will be really easy.
