KristenLe 5,979 Posted June 17, 2016 I'm still pre-surgery but here are some suggestions: Skim milk (almond milk, soy milk, etc.), No Sugar Added Carnation Instant Breakfast, sugar free pudding, creamed/strained Soups, V8, greek yogurt (is on some full liquid diets but check with yours). Christinamo7 4,042 Posted June 17, 2016 applesauce with no flavor or vanilla Protein powder was something I enjoyed. I also liked to whiz up the Progresso chicken pot pie Soup. didn't like it pre surgery, and not now, but it sure hit the spot during full liquids. funny how tastes can change. ashrox 4 Posted June 17, 2016 I'm still on full liquids for the next few days. Wonton Soup has been my go-to. Of course I just don't eat the dumplings. I've also had Tomato Soup a couple times. I hate that everything else I can have is sweet. I am so sick of sweet things!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I am in the full liquids stage and I am so tired of the shakes...all sweet. The full liquids stage is defintely a cure for a sweet tooth. Have you tried broccoli and cheddar soup? LipstickLady 25,682 Posted June 17, 2016 Miso Soup, egg drop soup, pureed bean soup...Panera was my go to place. They were happy to strain any soup for me that I requested and I felt like I was eating something "normal" after almost 2 weeks of Protein shakes, Jello and Popsicles.
