4 months post op today and starting to feel almost normal again!

Hey everyone! Today is exactly 4 months since my gastric bypass....I have lost exactly 50 lbs since surgery and 80 lbs total since I started this journey....I had a very rough month of April battling horrible diarrhea and then constipation! Finally for the past few weeks now I'm starting to feel somewhat back to normal ....I have yet to start a regular exercise routine ...I know that's bad!! If only the weight would fall off as fast as my hair is lately! Anyway..I would like to thank everyone for helping me along the way with any advice you have given to me...I find a lot of great information here...along with some humor and drama...makes for good entertainment at times...lol

Thanks for the follow up. I'm only day 4 postop I'm glad to hear there does come a time where you do feel normal again. It gives me hope

In the month of April I had more moments of "what the hell did I do?" Then not....I felt like it was never going to get better....but it has! I have a lot more energy now.....can eat more variety of foods and a bigger portion. I use to fear eating out because I was afraid of dumping. Now I have learned to order things that I am comfortable with and enjoy going out to eat with my hubby and friends occasionally [emoji3]

That's so awesome to hear Thecloude1! I can't wait to get there. Eating feels too much like a chore right now and zero energy. Definitely feeling the 'what the heck did I do to myself' lol
