about face 4 Posted June 16, 2016 After my EGD. My doctor is not comfortable with the Sleeve. He now suggest Bypass which makes me nervous. Any advice would be great. about face 4 Posted June 18, 2016 I absolutely trust and love my doctor. We spoke and I am going to do the Bypass. My fear of the surgery being more involved scared me. The fact that I will lose weight rapidly and instead gradually was also a fear. He said hey look at it this way. You can worry about loss skin and what others think or be healthy. WannabeH 114 Posted June 20, 2016 (edited) I had RNY approx 5 months ago. I've never felt better, my nails have never been stronger and my energy is fantastic (I also take my Vitamins every day). Yes it can be challenging in the beginning as you adjust to your new body, but it does get better. Discuss your concerns with your Dr and hopefully he can put your mind at ease.
