Dashofpixiedust8 1,469 Posted June 15, 2016 Hey out there! I had my surgery on May 27th and at my 2 week appointment last week I had lost 10 pounds. I got on my scale today and I lost 20 pounds since last week! This brings my total weight loss on this journey to 90 pounds! I want to start celebrating milestones. Have any of you done this or do you have any ideas? Thanks!

What about doing something that you couldn't have done before? For me, I think I'd like to try a zip line, or take a river rafting trip, or jump on a trampoline, or go horse back riding. Maybe even sky diving. Eek! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'd also love to do something like ziplining, trampoline, skydiving, zorbing, parasailing, hang gliding but I still have a ways to go! celebrating milestones @@Dashofpixiedust8 i got my first tattoo put on right wrist first 3 letters of grand-kids small italics, little red heart under each letter M organ A ndrew E than they are the reason for being a proudgrammy i am also a proud breast cancer survivor little italics on right ankle saying survivor a beautiful colored little butterfly under survivor this is for my 86 year old mom - she lives for butterflies many more NSV's to follow pre and post op weight loss is great!!! 90 lbs down!!! wonderful milestone with many more to follow kathy congrats I love tattoos! cseidman 175 Posted June 16, 2016 Zorbing? That's one I have to google right now. Maybe it needs to be added to my list too. You're off to such a great start that I'm sure you'll continue to do great! Keep all those adventurous activities in mind for future rewards. cseidman 175 Posted June 16, 2016 I agree! I have seen that before, but never knew what it was called. I'll add that to my list too. If bucket lists are all the things you want to do before you kick the bucket, I wonder what I should call my list of things I want to do after significant weight loss. livvsmum 2,369 Posted June 16, 2016 I did little things to reward myself along the way, a new wardrobe (this was more out necessity than anything), Tummy Tuck (when I reached and maintained my goal for 18 months), boudior pictures (at 2 years post op), and most recently I rewarded myself with the honeymoon my hubby and I never had! I put it off for 18 years because I didn't want to go when I was nearly 300 pounds. So to Celebrate 3 years post op at or below goal, we went to Mexico (lots of fun pics in my blog linked in my siggy). So, my rewards ranged from clothes to a trip, but I would just think about the things you've always wanted to do but didn't because of your weight and start there. I love glass, so I have bought myself some nice art glass pieces at some of my big milestones. Massages and mani/pedis are my standard rewards.
gary5862 208 Posted June 16, 2016 My wife and I are planning a vacation for when we've both hit our goal weight. I just realized that I'm 50lbs down today. I've never lost so much weight.

KristenLe 5,979 Posted June 16, 2016 I am going to buy myself a kick ass ring (diamond, ruby, sapphire - not quite sure yet) when I reach goal. It is either that or a tattoo - maybe even both!
