No energy

I was sleeved about four weeks ago and find myself very tired and achy. I am drinking my shakes as directed 64 mg of Protein and also drinking liquids and puréed is. I have been walking a lot more too. Can anyone suggest any thing that I'm doing wrong or suggest any energy drinks etc. to give me that extra pep in my step? I just feel like sleeping.

That's perfectly normal for several weeks after major surgery. sleep when you feel like you need to and keep following your program. You need to treat your body kindly. You will gradually start to regain your energy. Don't mess around with "energy drinks" and similar which are really just a way to pack a lot of calories and caffeine into your body.

If you aren't, make sure you are getting your Vitamin & mineral needs met. B12 (must be sublingual) and Iron are things that a lot of sleevers struggle with post-op and that can make a difference in your energy level if you aren't getting what you need. Good luck!

If you are taking BP meds, they may need to be adjusted. Are you taking your Vitamins? No energy drinks- too dangerous right now and may actually cause dumping.

Yes - you probably are experiencing low BP. It's very common to need them adjusted soon after WLS.

Get a blood panel done, and check your potassium! I had similar symptoms, it was potassium. If it's too low, and goes untreated, you can have a serious cardiac event. Of course many other things like low BP and insufficient Protein can cause similar symptoms. See you primary care physician and get your blood work done.
