esskay77 785 Posted June 14, 2016 Crystal light saved me! I actually love Water but have been surprised how little I drink. I switched to Crystal Light and can power through so much more water now. The Protein shakes--just keep trying different flavors until you find a good one. I did find that the vanilla mixed with pineapple juice tastes like a Pina Colada but we're really not supposed to have juice. but, it does help with getting the protein in
pattyoj 13 Posted June 14, 2016 Thank you. Did you add crystal light to all of your Water intake? I only do it to one bottle but wouldn't mind doing it to all Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
KristenLe 5,979 Posted June 14, 2016 @@pattyoj Try some infused Water (mint & cucumber, strawberry & lime). You can add flavors to water all you want - whatever helps to get enough fluids. Dehydration is a scary thing!
esskay77 785 Posted June 14, 2016 @@pattyoj I do it to most these days. Not all but I don't see why you couldn't.
278lbrobin 1 Posted June 14, 2016 Try propel zero with Vitamins they have kiwi strawberry, grape, and lemon, they kinda kill two birds with one stone vitamins and electrolytes. These helped me with hydration and I don't like any of the Protein Shakes either so I do Peanut Butter and soft scrambled eggs(not together) for Protein. MCE1205 47 Posted June 15, 2016 I could not stand my Protein drink I used pre-surgery and immediately following surgery (Shaklee). I now use powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury and Inspire which are not chalky and have good flavor but are on the sweeter side so I mix with coffee and milk. RobingAlaska 30 Posted June 15, 2016 I will try very hard to get at least one premiere Pro Tien strawberries and cream drink down, it gives you 30 g of Protein. You can get unflavored Protein powder and mix it with cream-based Soup or broth to get additional Protien. If you're using crystal light with your Water you should dilute it, because although it is sugarfree, according to my dock too much is not good, it should be diluted. Flavored waters that you do yourself with fresh rosemary fresh meant lemons and cucumbers is very good. You could purchase one of those nice drink dispensers and do something different each day and drink on it. Get your Vitamins and your Protein in every day with a total of at least 64 ounces of Fluid, so important. esskay77 785 Posted June 15, 2016 @@Fettchick83 It doesn't HAVE to be Crystal Light. I'm only saying what I am doing. There are many other similar options.
