s.thompson 10 Posted June 14, 2016 As I've posted before I am having some problems with pain. I am 3 weeks post op and the pains I am having starts in the middle of my breast bone and it radiates. Every 45 seconds and last for 7 seconds. My doctor did a CT scan today and says everything is fine but this pain is just getting so bad it's hard to eat or drink anything. Tomorrow they want to run more tests and blood work. I am wondering if this pain is hunger pain but I really don't know exactly how it "feels". When I speak to my doctors nurse practitioner they draw a blank and have no answers. I know this is a long post I just wanted to know if anyone had any clues. Could this be hunger pains that just hurts more when I eat or drink because it's getting food?

s.thompson 10 Posted June 14, 2016 I went to see my doctor this morning. The scan came back clear but I am in tremendous pain. I don't know what else to do at this point.
Lily461 33 Posted June 16, 2016 I had pain like that the day after surgery. A swallow study showed swelling in my esophagus. Perhaps a swallow study would be a good idea for you as well? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
